Rétrospective de notre année ensemble 🤍

Looking back on our year together 🤍

Posted by Melissa France on

To begin, we would like to thank you for this superb year. Still a roller coaster of information & constant adaptations but we end this year proud. Proud of projects and collaborations.

This is why for the occasion here is a summary of our year 2021.

Winter started calmly, we were just introducing our fall collection consisting of our coturno boots , known for their quality & ranger style. Available in several colors. Made from 30% recycled materials.

February remained relatively early to speak of scandal but we could not contain our excitement in front of our very first model made of 100% recycled materials which represented an important innovation and on which we are still working!

It was also at the end of Fashion Week that our unique collaboration with Y. Project was born. Shoes straight out of a fairy tale. Heeled mules inspired by baroque vases with fascinating attention to detail.

In March we brought out our bags in collaboration with the great haute couture house Viktor & Rolf by adding colors such as brown! Melissa has also collaborated with the brand Lazy oaf, a well-known brand in our young community. The platform shoes were decorated with small hearts and small flowers, everything to crack our generation Z.

We took advantage of the sunny days to bring out the flash, our moccasins left as early as it had arrived. A big success!

Spring was just arriving when we put the spotlight on our platform sandals so early, the Mélissa beige our platform flip-flops sold out very quickly as well as our Becky, 2 Y2K style models.

In April our collaboration with the brand of the Parisian future was released: Rombaut . For the occasion, 2 signature pairs of the two brands have been revisited, the sneakers and the possession. In 4 colors. In addition to being sublime, this collaboration had the particularity of being made of 50% recycled materials and 50% biobased. A collaboration that left no one indifferent.

Then in the air where telework has become the norm, we continue to offer our most comfortable pairs to stay at home, such as the wide, the papete or our collaboration with opening ceremony, the hatch!

We participated in fashion revolution week using this moment to explain to our community what our labels represent which can seem so vague. Such as SMETA and ABVTEX.

We were lucky to have a great summer where we had the honor of welcoming you in store at the Galeries Lafayette Champs Élysée!

July, we unveiled our new collection in collaboration with Viktor and Rolf. Composed of flowered platform sandals and revisited coturno boots.

At the start of the school year, we participated in the eco-responsible conscious festival and we launched our first upcycling workshop with Rubi Pigeon and Made In Sunday. Allowing people to come in with an item of clothing they weren't wearing and come out with a new piece and a first approach towards upcycling.

Autumn was slowly coming, so we started releasing the heavy artillery that is our current FW21 collection: our Nancy boots, our shifters , our fluffy Slides and others!

We also supported the anti-Black Friday movement by talking about our partnership with 1 percent for the planet, which consists of donating 1% of our turnover each year to the association of our choice.

To top it off, you have been there all year to support us, the media too and we have been on the cover of alter issue Berlin!

Thanks again and see you next year!
