This week we stay in Paris and we invite you to come back to our favorite moments of Paris Fashion Week which (FINALLY!) took place with the return of the public.
The Fichu for Fichu collection by Marine Serre
Increasingly noticed for her talent, Marine Serre continues to impress us with her creations. Ostal 24 is the name of the 14-minute short film in which the designer presents her spring/summer 2022 collection, which is made from 90% upcycled or regenerated clothing. In particular, you can find everyday objects such as cutlery, or tea towels, transformed into luxury items. Also in this presentation, Marine Serre highlights her creations in scenes of a 24-hour day, and explores beyond fashion, new ways of living: how to evolve closer to nature, to feed or to live in a community. A real reflection on our lifestyles!
Chloé: recycled materials and crafts 
For her second collection, Gabriela Hearst continues on her more eco-responsible and artisanal vision for Chloé , values that are dear to her and that she would like to transmit through her pieces. In the new collection, the designer presents the “Chloé Craft” pole which highlights independent craftsmen who create handcrafted pieces, thus facilitating transparency and guaranteeing quality. The leather accessories come from Leather Working Group certified tanneries which guarantees the transparency of the origin of the leather. On the leather goods side, the woven pieces are created in partnership with Mifuko , which is a fair trade basketry working with Kenyan artisans. We also note a collaboration with Ocean Sole which is an association that recycles flip flops found on beaches in Kenya, and which are then transformed into “Chloé Lou” shoes. Victoria/ Tomas, the show at La Caserne
A few months ago we told you about La Caserne , a Parisian incubator dedicated to sustainable fashion, and for this fashion week, the parade of the duo Victoria/Tomas took place there with their Mirage collection. With fully reversible pieces, the 2 designers were able to create versatile looks, perfectly mixing colors that we didn't suspect would match. Moreover, Victoria Feldman and Tomas Berzins did not hesitate to mix genres in their creation, with utilitarian forms that make the pieces timeless and suitable for any situation. Everything we love about our sustainable wardrobe!
Stella McCartney: sensuality and innovation
We already know Stella McCartney for her immense desire to pull the fashion industry towards a more responsible path, so for her return to the fashion scene with the spring-summer 2022 collection , she insists more on this need for transition towards sustainable luxury. The designer has used the mushroom as the red thread of her collection and believes that it is a sustainable material to be exploited in the fashion industry. We then have the mushroom from every angle: both in pattern and in the material used to make the first vegan leather bag with the Mylo. We also find recycled polyester and elastane, regenerated nylon, dyes made from recycled materials, and responsibly made viscose and wool.
A fashion week in Paris which was therefore inspiring, vibrant with energy and which brought pleasure with its return to the public!
