To start this marathon of exhibitions, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum is reopening its doors! This is an opportunity to look back on the life of a symbol of French haute couture .
After opening a first Yves Saint-Laurent Museum in Paris on October 3, 2017 and a second in Marrakech on October 19, 2017, the Pierre Bank – Yves Saint Laurent continues to revive the famous French couturier.
With more than 5,000 garments, 15,000 accessories and several tens of thousands of drawings, collection boards and other documents, the collection – formerly owned by the foundation – is incredibly rich. In addition, Yves Saint Laurent is the only fashion designer of his time who took the precaution of archiving his work as soon as he opened his house ! Too exciting, no?

The Lafayette Anticipations Foundation invites you to discover Martin Margiela in a new light thanks to an exhibition dedicated to the Belgian designer which will take place from October 20, 2021 to January 2, 2022 . A retrospective more focused on the artist than on the couturier with colorful works, some of which were produced by the foundation.
Works presented for the first time by the designer and the cultural institution showing that he is also an artist . Drawings, sculptures and collages … So many materials that have influenced his haute couture creations and presented here for an exclusive look at his universe. And a topic close to his heart: his obsession with “discreet people, abandoned objects and forgotten places and events”. An exhibition conceived as a total work of art that pursues its obsession with “ transformation ”.

Alert event ! The Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris hosts the Thierry Mugler exhibition : Couturissime . Save the date, take a few days off, get your camera ready... This exhibition offers us an overview of the journey of the genius designer, an absolute icon in the world of fashion. Originally scheduled from October 2020, it was postponed from September 30, 2021 to April 24, 2022 .
Perfumes , photographs, haute couture, Thierry Mugler has tried everything and always succeeded in creating incredible works and products.

The Galliera Palace presents “ Vogue Paris 1920-2020 ”, an exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the iconic fashion magazine . It presents photographs, drawings, magazines , archives and films showing the importance of the magazine in supporting Parisian fashion, haute couture and young designers. Meet from October 2, 2021 to January 30, 2022 to discover this historic moment.
Founded in 1920 by Condé Nast , the Parisian version of the fashion magazine, has brought about a breath of fresh air thanks to different writers chief. We owe them bold choices for the coverage of many fights for women's independence. The style " boyish models of the 20s, then the excessive sensuality of actresses, transgenders and other trendy celebrities have always been shot by the greatest photographers: the magazine does not make traditions and wishes to shake up the small world of fashion, and more generally, the whole world.

CinéMode is the name of the cinema and fashion exhibition not to be missed this fall 2021 in Paris. Orchestrated by Jean-Paul Gaultier , who is also one of the first designers to have collaborated with Melissa . The couturier has created a dozen movie costumes as he says: "without the show ' Paris Frills ' , I would never have done this job". "Paris Frills ” is a French drama film directed by Jacques Becker (1945) whose story takes place in a post-war fashion house that will spark the designer's vocation.
More than a Jean-Paul Gaultier retrospective, CineFashion tells how clothing has found a place of choice in the cinema in a great mixture of references, diversion of codes and disappearance of borders.
